Changes to building and processes due to COVID-19

As part of our ongoing attempt to reduce risk of infection to patients and staff alike at the Junction and Alkrington Surgeries, we have made a few changes to the building and to our processes. These include the requirement to wear a face covering when attending for an appointment, the fitting of an intercom at Junction, and more. Click for more info.

Guidance when attending appointments at the surgery

When atttending appointments at the surgery, please attend alone (where possible). We also ask that when you attend the surgery, please wear a face mask / covering and please keep this on for the duration of your time in the surgery (unless asked to remove). We are doing all we can to reduce risk to you, our patients, and our staff members.

Shielded (vulnerable) patient list letters/texts/emails

As you may be aware the Government have sent over a million letters to patients advising them that they are in a ‘at risk’ group and should isolate for the next 12 weeks. These letters were produced using hospital data and NOT data from GP Practices.
